Tori Green: Who are you? What do you do?
Jules Liesl: I'm Jules Liesl! and I'm a singer songwriter
Tori: What was your first business (including running your own business)? How long did this last or are you still involved in the same business?
Jules: Me! I've been working for 5 years on myself as a business
Tori: Biggest challenge? How did you get through it?
Jules: My biggest challenge would be what I'm doing now, trying to blow up as a popstar.
Tori: What is something that you wish you could go back and tell yourself before starting this
journey?
Jules: You will make it, don't stop, don't give up and don't be lazy.
Tori: What did you do before owning your own/running your business?
Jules: I was a full time model, and I really hated it. I've always struggled with an eating disorder and it was really hard on my mind to deal with always having to be a certain size at the time.
Tori: What/who made you take the first leap?
Jules: My friend Greg, he heard me sing and said “we need to do something with your voice” . That was 5 years ago and here I am, achieving my dreams.
Tori: Who was the first to believe in you and give you real support (financial/sweat equity)?
Jules: My parents, they’ve always believed in my music even when I was a baby. They knew I'd do this with my career.
Tori: Was this your dream job? If not, what was?
Jules: Yes!!! I've literally always wanted to be an artist! I used to pretend my barbies were famous singers.
Tori: Why did you get into this field?
Jules: I love music and I wanna be an inspiration to people to be confident and love themselves in every way, I want people to feel confident when they listen to my music.
Tori: What is your biggest failure that you turned into a success?
Jules: Myself
Tori: If you could change one thing about your life today for the better, what would it be?
Jules: Honestly, the only thing I would change is to work even harder than I am now.
Tori: How is your life/work balance? Body, mind, and soul weekly routine?
Jules: Smoke a lot of weed, workout everyday and rest as much as possible.
Tori: Do you say/write out affirmations?
Jules: I tell my coochie and my vocal cords everyday that “she is beautiful, she is unstoppable, she is perfect” LOL.
Tori: When was the last time you tried something new/ Stepped out of routine?
Jules: I recently got bumble friends.. cause i have no idea how to make friends, maybe that'll help!
Tori: Favorite book that changed your life?
Jules: I don't really like to read because I’m dyslexic but if I do I read books about witchcraft, horoscopes, crystals and aliens.. I'm really into all that witchy stuff.
Tori: Do you think your gender gives you an advantage or disadvantage in today’s world?
Jules: I think I have an advantage by being a woman, I'm powerful.
Tori: Have you experienced different treatment from your peers of the opposite sex?
Jules: not at all! I work mostly with men and they're all really amazing at making me feel good about myself in every aspect.
Tori: Thoughts on the glass ceiling?
Jules: I think women should have no limits.
Tori: What advice would you give your children/ future children about succeeding in a patriarchal society?
Jules: Don't let anything stop you from achieving your dreams.
Tori: If you could talk to a young boy/girl from your hometown neighborhood who aspires to
have your career/job/focus what would tell them? Advice.
Jules: I would tell them, move to la, get into dance, be strong and don't trust everyone.

Jules: I'm a gemini!
Tori: Number one piece of advice you remember?
Jules: Recently someone told me to separate myself from who I am on stage and who I am at home, so that i dont go crazy.. So I'm living that Hannah Montana life.
